Next Level U Statement

I would like to attend a post secondary institution that will allow me to play hockey as well as obtain an education in business.  I am a great teammate and feel I am a good leader on and off the ice.  I like to lead by example, so my teammates will see me working hard at practice, at games, in the gym and in the library.

Other Info:

I am an outgoing person who loves to be around people.  I enjoy my time with my teammates at the rink and I help keep them motivated on and off the ice through my work ethic and with my positive attitude and outlook.  I recognize I have been fortunate to play with great teammates and be coached by some great coaches and don’t take that for granted. I have worked hard to get where I am at in my hockey career and even though I haven’t take the direct route to get to Junior A, I feel the roads I took allowed me to grow physically and mentally as a goalie and as a human.

I can confidently say that if you spoke to any of my coaches, they would have good things to say.  I have been told I am a great guy to have around the rink and they recognize and appreciate my leadership.

In my Major Midget year of AAA I was voted unanimously to be the team captain, and even though Goalies can’t be captains, I took it as a huge compliment from my teammates and I strive to keep that level of leadership to this day.
