My objective as a student athlete is to enter an education and golf program that I can be successful in. Academically I want to pursue a 4-year program in the field of Environmental Science/Engineering. Professors and faculty that are going to push me and set high expectations for me as a student. Golf specifically I am looking for a program that welcomes me and provides me the opportunity to contribute. Coaches and programs that are demanding but fair, in order to get the most out of myself and my teammates.
In addition to golf, I have played a lot of team sports in Western Canada including hockey, baseball and volleyball. I thrive in the team environment, both as an individual contributor and and as a teammate. Everyone has to earn their positions in team sports and so whether I am contributing scores during a tournament or pushing my teammates during practice, I want a program where we have one another’s backs and win or lose we share a common goal to succeed.

Academics
Currently, my academic programs of interest are in the fields of Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering. These programs work well for me as my academic strengths are certainly in the sciences and math. An education in the field of Environmental Science will allow me to pursue a career focused in abandonment and reclamation, preferably in the Energy/Oil and Gas sector. My Dad currently works in this field and my Mother has a Graduate Degree in Biological Science so I feel I am well suited for this field. An education in Environmental Sciences/Engineering will provide me career opportunities to improve the environment for others around me.
