Next Level U Statement

I’m interested in playing hockey at the post-secondary level because the game has been a huge part of my life, and I want to keep pushing myself to compete at a higher level. As a right wing, I focus on using my speed, vision, and shot to create scoring chances and support my teammates at both ends of the ice.

At the same time, I’m working toward a degree in education because I enjoy helping others and see myself one day teaching or coaching. Being a student-athlete will help me grow as a leader, manage my time well, and stay disciplined—skills I’ll carry with me long after hockey.
