My player style is results driven, As I am constantly motivated by the desire to improve and push past my personal bests. I believe there is aways room to grow, and that drive keeps me focused and eager for further progress. While I’m highly competitve, I also value supporting my teammates and encouraging them to reach their own goals.
Player Strengths:
My strengths as an athlete include strong mental resilience, consistent discipline, and the ability to preform under pressure. I’ve recognized with multiple MVP and Athlete of the Year awards, that they reflect on my commitment and impact in competition. I bring leadership both on and off the track, motivating others while staying focused on my own goals. I am also coachable, goal oriented, and thrive in structured, competitive environments.
Leadership:
Ive demonstrated leadership both on and off the track, especially through my role as team captain in volleyball during my junior and senior years. I led warmups, kept team spirits high, and consistently offered encourgament during tough games. In track, I take initiative by leading warmups when needed and always aiming to keep a positive, focused environment, knowing that mindset plays a huge role in performance for myself and those around me.
Team History:
For track, I began my athletic journey with Maximus Performance at around 8 years old, where I was first introduced to track and feild. I later explored volleyball for two years but eventually returned to track after rediscovering my passion for the sport. I currently train with Laurel creek Track and Feild club, which i joined after consistently excelling in hurdles throughout my high school seasons. My strong performance at different regions each year in highschool confirmed that hurdles is where I thrive, and I’ve been dedicated to developing my skills in that event ever since.
Throughout high school, Ive earned several indivdual honors that reflect on my dedication and preformance as a athlete. Ive been awarded Junior and senior Athlete of the year, as well as Track and Feild MVP every year so far. I also received the Coaches Award in volleyball during my senior grade 11 year. In competition, Ive won WCSSAA and CWOSSA gold medals for three consecutive years. In grade nine, I qualified for OFSAA in the 80mh, and I have competed at OFSAA West every year, gaining valuable experience against Ontarios region.
Team Accomplishments:
As part of a relay team, I earned All-American at Adidas indoor nationals in the shuttle Hurdle Relay. This experience not only marked a major competivie award, but also strengthened my ability to preform in high preassure team enviorments on a national stage.
