Next Level U Statement

I am a dedicated multi-sport athlete in the Class of 2028 with a strong work ethic, a competitive mindset, and a passion for playing softball at the collegiate level. As a power-hitting right-handed batter, I take pride in being a consistent offensive threat who can change the momentum of a game with one swing. My approach at the plate is built on discipline, confidence, and preparation. I consistently drive the ball gap-to-gap with power, generate extra-base hits, produce RBIs in key situations, and maintain a high on-base percentage by staying patient and forcing pitchers to work.

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to make adjustments throughout an at-bat and remain composed in high-pressure situations. Whether the game is on the line or my team needs a clutch hit, I embrace the challenge and trust the work I have put in. I strive to be the hitter opposing teams game-plan around by combining power, consistency, and a relentless competitive drive.

Defensively, I am an athletic and dependable outfielder who takes pride in reading the ball well, covering ground efficiently, and making smart decisions on every play. While I value every aspect of my game, my greatest impact comes through my offensive production and my ability to consistently contribute to my team’s success.

Beyond my performance on the field, I am committed to continuous improvement as both an athlete and a teammate. I bring energy, leadership, and a coachable attitude to every practice and game, always looking for opportunities to grow. My goal is to compete at the collegiate level, where I can contribute to a winning program while continuing to develop as a player, student, and leader.

In Volleyball, I bring a dynamic presence to the court—combining powerful attacks from the right side with smart, consistent setting in both transition and serve-receive. I pride myself on being a floor leader who communicates clearly, reads the game well, and thrives under pressure. My blocking, serve consistency, and court awareness make me a reliable all-around contributor.

Academics

Pursuing a degree in Exercise Science is an important step toward achieving my long-term goal of becoming a physiotherapist. I am fascinated by the complexity of the human body and the way movement, exercise, and rehabilitation can improve a person’s overall health and quality of life. Through this program, I hope to develop a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and injury prevention while gaining practical experience working with individuals in a healthcare setting. I believe this education will provide the scientific foundation and critical thinking skills necessary for a successful career in rehabilitation.

My ultimate goal is to become a physiotherapist because I want to help people regain their strength, mobility, and independence after injury, illness, or surgery. Physiotherapy combines evidence-based practice with compassionate patient care, making it a career that aligns with both my interests and values. I am committed to continuously expanding my knowledge, developing strong communication skills, and providing personalized treatment plans that improve patients’ physical function and overall well-being. By pursuing this career, I hope to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of others while working in a profession that is both intellectually challenging and personally rewarding.
