Next Level U Statement
I am passionate about hockey and continuing my journey post secondary at the highest level possible, while obtaining a degree from a psychology program in the United States or Canada as I value both my athletics and my academics.
On the ice, As a left defence man, I take pride in how I play in the defensive end, shutting everything down and having a strong net front presence and creating breakouts for offensive opportunities. I bring a high-level physicality and compete. But also with the ability to contribute offensively using my speed to skate with puck and join offensive rushes. Once in the offensive zone, I contribute heavily with my shot, finding lanes for scoring chances and holding the line.

Left Defence
I excel in battles for the puck by using my strength to win possession. My physical presence net front is a key asset. I thrive in the defensive zone but jump on every opportunity to join the rush while also staying positional sound. defensively I anticipate plays and shut down my opponents zone entrys and shots. I play physical but smart in the corners and keep an active stick to deny any potential offensive opportunities for the opposing team. When I get the puck I look for quick and smart plays to create and offensive chance for my team and play hard on the blue line getting my shots off quick and finding lanes while also holding the line to keep my team in the play. But overall I have a strong work ethic on and off the ice and never take a shift off.
