My main event is 100Fly, although I am a very well-rounded swimmer who has found success in 50Fly, 200Fly, 200IM, 400IM, 50Back, 100Back, 200Back, 50Free, 100Free, and 200Free.
I am an extremely dedicated and hardworking athlete with a genuine passion for swimming and the process of improving every day. I bring intensity and focus to every practice and fully commit to the work required to compete at a high level. I am highly coachable, receptive to feedback, and quick to apply technical adjustments in both training and competition. I take pride in pushing myself beyond my comfort zone and maintaining a consistent standard of effort. I lead by example through my work ethic, discipline, and positive attitude, and I strive to elevate both myself and my teammates in and out of the pool.
My swim club does not have captains, however I am in the top training group at my club. I am seen as a senior level athlete who has a responsibility to help those younger than me and to be a good example for them to learn from. Also, at my high school I am the captain of our swim team, as well as our senior girls basketball team. These experiences have given me many great leadership skills and opportunities to guide others.
-Guelph Marlins Aquatic Club (2015-2020)

I have qualified for the Ontario Swimming Championships every year since I was 13. Last season I was able to qualify in 7 events and ended up swimming 6 of them. I was able to make finals in 5 of these events including A finals in the 100Fly and 200Fly. One of my goals for this season is to qualify for Canadian Trials as I am only a second off in multiple events.
I am also a multi-sport athlete. I am on my high school cross-country team and have made ofsaa in both grade 9 and 10. I am also a valuable member of my high school basketball team and helped lead our team to winning cwossa in grade 9 and 10 and this year making it to the ofsaa championship. I was also the female athlete of the year for my school in both grade 9 and 10. Along with this I have also won the MVP award for the cross-country, basketball, and swim teams.
In grade 8, I won the academic excellence award for my graduating class.
