Player Style:

I am gritty, hardworking, and not easily rattled.  I work hard at practice and training in the gym, and am committed to improving my play, and encouraging and supporting my teammates to do the same. I try to keep my emotions in check on the course and focus on the process.  I’m a relatively long hitter, and an excellent scrambler when fighting to save par.

Player Strengths:

I’m very coachable, and as a multi-sport athlete playing numerous competitive sports at a high level, I’ve learned from different coaches and trainers through the years to transfer applicable skills from other sports to golf.  Balance, strength, alignment, strong swing mechanics, and patience and adaptability have allowed me to establish strong ball striking skills.  I’ve become more process oriented and better attuned to my swing the longer I’ve played, which allows me to better evaluate a poor shot/swing when it happens, and quickly recover and refocus on making a smart decision and a better swing on the next shot. I am a team member who brings leadership and can make an immediate impact to a roster and contribute to a strong team dynamic both on and off the course.

Leadership:

Voted as Western Canada High School’s Golf Team MVP in my senior year, and honored to have been selected as the Alberta Schools’ Athletic Association (ASAA) Female Athlete of the Month for September 2024 – after winning the Provincial Championships for the second time in 3 years.

As team Captain of my school volleyball team,  I am proud to have  lead my team to a first place finish in my freshman year (2022) – winning the banner and trophy with my teammates for the first time in the school’s history.  We took the title from a school that had won the trophy the prior 10 years in a row.
