In this match, I started both sets. This video shows my playmaking, defensive plays and offensive mindset. I felt that in this game I did a good job of running my middles and creating many one-on-one situations for my outside hitters.

Setter (Current position)
Liberio, Right side (Former positions)
I am a high-IQ, offensive-minded, athletic setter with solid defensive skills. I take pride in using my setter ability to expose the opposition’s weakness so my hitter has an easier time getting kills. I create an isolation situation by diversifying my setting choice based on the opponent’s defensive gaps. As a left-handed setter, I keep defences on their toes because I am capable and will be an offensive threat. I use my athleticism to fix poor passes, regain offensive options, and defend the court.
I have many strengths that any team would benefit from having. For instance, my tactical awareness allows me to read plays before they develop and make the best play for the situation. My athleticism allows me to create scoring opportunities for my teammates and myself. I am a reliable server who can put pressure on the defence and choose the right serve in the right situation. Making timely defensive plays is what my coaches and teammates know me for. I take pride in making key defensive plays.
