Next Level U Statement

My objective as a student-athlete is to find a program that will challenge me both academically and athletically while preparing me for a successful future beyond college. Academically, I am pursuing a degree in Nursing and am committed to maintaining strong academic performance while gaining the knowledge and clinical experience necessary to become a compassionate and skilled healthcare professional. I value education and want to be part of a university that supports student-athletes in balancing demanding academic programs with athletic commitments.

Athletically, I am seeking an opportunity to continue competing at a high level of collegiate softball while contributing to a positive team culture. As a pitcher with Division I experience, I am looking for a program where I can continue to develop my skills, compete for meaningful innings and help my team succeed. I take pride in my work ethic, leadership and commitment to continuous improvement, both on and off the field.

My overall goal is to graduate with a nursing degree, make a positive impact on my team and campus community, and leave the college better than I found it as a stronger athlete, leader and person. I am excited to find a program that values hard work, accountability, discipline, academic excellence and a team-first mentality.
