Next Level U Statement
Since I started playing hockey, I’ve always wanted to be a goalie. My goal as a student-athlete is to continue to be challenged both on the ice and in the classroom. I want to be a difference-maker in net, someone my team can count on, and someone who always gives my best.
Off the ice, I’m focused on working hard. These last three years I’ve remained on the Honour Roll, showing that I’ve been able to successfully balance my school work and the demands of playing high-level sports. The habits I’ve built through hockey, like perseverance, accountability, and time management are things that will help me succeed in both school and life. My ultimate goal is to represent my hockey program and university with pride, grow as a competitor, and make the most of every opportunity the game gives me.
