Next Level U Statement
My interest in pursuing a soccer scholarship at a respected college or university is a part of my broader passion for teaching and my aspiration to become a physical education and history teacher. Soccer has been a guiding force in my life, teaching me invaluable lessons about teamwork, discipline, and resilience. These principles, earned through years on the soccer field, are qualities I am eager to impart to future generations. By securing a soccer scholarship, I aim not only to excel athletically but also to leverage the educational opportunities provided by a reputable institution to earn a degree in education, focusing on physical education and history.
My commitment to teaching stems from a profound belief in the power of education and mentorship. I have been afforded excellent mentorship in my life, and envision myself inspiring students both inside and outside the classroom, using the dual lenses of history and physical education to instill a holistic understanding of the world and foster a healthy, active lifestyle. The pursuit of this dual passion aligns with my long-term goals, allowing me to merge my love for soccer with my dedication to education. This journey is not just about achieving excellence on the soccer field but also about acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to become a well-rounded educator, shaping the minds and bodies of future generations.
As I prioritize both playing soccer and earning a degree, I am confident that this unique combination will lay the foundation for a fulfilling and impactful career in teaching.

Teacher and Coach – Mr. MacDonald
I am a pure goal scorer from the striker position and from right/center or left back. My left-foot dominant shot can be valuable in different positions and teams can allow teams to play to the strengths of all teammates. My coaches have moved players around me to take advantage of my ability to pass with precision. My greatest offensvie strenght is the abilty to be creative in my passing.
On the defensive side, I am tough to move and cannot be knocked around. I play with grit and have found players often avoiding me in the 2nd half of games, often.
Player Style:
Left footed striker, slick passer. Tough and well rounded. I can score from different angles, both feet and my head/body.
Player Strengths:
Left footed, speed (3rd place in City of Calgary 100Meter track finals), strong and athletic.
Excellent passing variety and instincts.
Quick feet, tricky “slick”.
#1- X Factor/Gamer. When the game is at its highest amount of pressure, and the stakes of the game are the highest – is when I have always played my best. This has become a well-known thing about me; I can perform well under pressure. My biggest weakness is playing up to my standards in the early pre-season “friendly” games.
