Left back (LB)/Center midfielder (CM)

My player identity is derived by the way I play and manipulate the field. Defensively, I like to play with a highline to set the offside trap, reduce the spaces for the opponents to play through the middle and force them wide. When attacking, my main position as left back will depend on where the ball is. I will make overlapping runs out wide or find open space in the middle. Often times when my team is attacking my role as an inverted left back is to tuck into the middle permitting my team to have more players up the field. I would describe my style of play as a play maker because whenever my team has possession I can help move the ball around I do this by playing through balls to the forwards, with quick combinations through the middle, or using my movements to create spaces for other opportunities.

As a defender, I use my agility and technical skills to excel in both the defensive and offensive  aspects of the game. I use my vision of the field to defend the potential through ball and recognizing the body shape and habits of opponents, and when attacking I will look for spaces to run into and from there help move the ball up the field. I use my physical strength to shield the ball or win it off opponents, this also contributes to my ability to give a quality ball when sending a cross, taking free kicks and corners.
