2021 MJT National Championship pres. by TaylorMade & adidas Golf (Invitational) at Morgan Creek Golf Course
From October 8-11, I played in the 2021 MJT National Championship pres. by TaylorMade & adidas Golf (Invitational) at Morgan Creek Golf Course and finished 21st in the Juvenile Division. It was a great experience and a great way to cap off a very successful tournament season.
On Day 1, they had the course set up tough and the rain that came on the back nine did not make the conditions any easier. I battled back after a tough 12th hole, and finished the last 6 holes +1 which was very tough to do in the conditions.
On Day 2 and 3 it was great to have the sun shining and near perfect weather for fall golf. Day 2 was very steady and being able to keep it going on the back nine shooting +2 (38) was great despite not being able to make any birdies for the day. Day 3 was great right from the start executing my game-plan very well despite a rough stretch in the middle of the round and a tough break on the 18th hole.
Overall, I learned lots from the experience, played some good golf and am really excited to get back out again competing.
Thanks to everyone at the MJT for running such great and competitive events all season and looking forward to the 2022 tournament season.
