2023 Golf Season Recap
My golf journey began to flourish in the 2023 season, but I picked up the sport for the first time in the summer of 2020, when the pandemic greatly restricted hockey participation. I really fell in love with golf when I started to play for fun with my grandfather in the fall of 2021. I began with single day tournaments at the regional level in the spring/summer of 2022, winning 2 tournaments; Chester Invitational, with a score of 76, and River Hills Invitational, with a score of 78.
In early spring of 2023, my math teacher suggested I join the MJT tour in addition to this 2nd season of Invitational tournaments. I used the spring to hone my competitiveness and was able to effectively hold my own by the end of the season. My practice and dedication to golf is reflected in my game and scores. This fall, I began to take lessons, and am looking forward to honing my skills.
