Grinton Brothers Lead South Colchester Academy to Northern Region High School Title

Twin brothers Finn and Jack Grinton delivered a dominant performance this week, leading South Colchester Academy to the Northern Region High School Golf Championship in impressive fashion.

The Grinton brothers paced the field with outstanding rounds of 67 and 70, helping South Colchester Academy capture the regional crown by a commanding 14-stroke margin over the second-place team.

Finn Grinton claimed the individual regional championship, showcasing remarkable consistency and composure throughout the tournament. Not far behind was his twin brother, Jack, who secured runner-up honors, giving South Colchester Academy the top two individual finishes in the competition.

Their stellar performances highlighted a complete team effort, but it was the brothers’ exceptional play that separated South Colchester Academy from the rest of the field and cemented the school’s status as one of Nova Scotia’s premier high school golf programs.

With the regional title now secured, the focus shifts to the Nova Scotia High School Provincial Championships, where the Grintons and their teammates will look to build on their success. The team enters provincials with momentum and confidence as they pursue back-to-back championships and attempt to repeat as Nova Scotia Provincial Champions.

After a dominant showing at regionals, South Colchester Academy appears poised for another strong run at the provincial title, with Finn and Jack Grinton once again leading the charge.
