Player Style:

I am a strong mental player, when the pressure is on, so am I. I tend to play better under pressure and on the back nine due to this. I try to maintain good course management always, and not get rattled by a bad shot along with other competitors. My positive attitude and mental toughness is one of my biggest strengths on the course.

Player Strengths:

One of my biggest strengths within my swing is my tempo. I can consistently be smooth during the  transition at the top of my swing, and keep that same tempo on the way down.

Leadership:

I’ve taken on leadership roles as a captain with my volleyball team. I lead by example, showing up early for practices and games, working hard every session, and maintaining a positive and encouraging attitude toward all teammates. I take pride in fostering team spirit, strong communication, and accountability on and off the court.

Team History:

Enthusiastic about a range of activities, I have a love of golf, volleyball, and softball. I am new on the scene with golf but have fallen in love with it. This was my first year playing and excited to continue to learn and grow within this sport.

– August 2024 Qualified for Alberta Golf Tour finals in Red Deer – Finished 6th

– August 2024 Magrath Club Championships won the Junior ladies title (shot the low gross of all the ladies at club).

– September 2024 LCI High School SV Girls Golf team won the ASAA 3A/4A South Zones banner.

– September 2024 Alberta High School Provincials, placed 24th individually and team placed 5th

– September 2024 ASAA 3A/4A High School Zones Individual scores, finished 4th, only one stroke back of the bronze medal as a grade 10 student

– September 2024 ASAA 3A/4A High School Golf Provincials. LCI girls Team finished 5th. For individual scores, Ali placed 24th in the Province of Alberta

• July 2025 Lethbridge Junior Interclub League at Henderson Lake Golf Course – 2nd place low Gross & 1st place low Net – Shot 82

• August 2025 McLennan Ross Alberta Tour stop at Nanton Golf Course – 2nd place low gross & net—Shot 89, pouring rain this day.
• August 2025 Maple Leaf Junior Tour at Millwoods Golf Course. – 2nd place low Gross shot 85, 80. Won KP and the bounceback award too.
• September 2025 Maple Leaf Junior Tour at Redtail Landing Golf Course – 3rd place low gross. Shot 84, & 80
• September 2025 Alberta High School North Central Zones – 1st place for 3A/4A individual, shot 83
• October 2025 Canadian Junior Golf Association Western Championships at Mickelson National Golf Course – 6th place, shot 84, 86.
• October 2025 Hurricane Junior Golf Open at Eagle Creek Golf Course in Orlando. Ended up 36th place playing for the first ever time on Bermuda grass. Shot 91, then 84 from 5900 yards. What a great experience competing against girls from all over the world.

Individual Accomplishments:

 

• 2024 Honors in all subjects in Grade 9
• 2023 – 93% + in ALL core subjects and ALL classes in Grade 8, High Honours in Grade 8, High Academic Achievement Gr 8, Distinction on GAUSS test in Canada.
• 2022 – Academic Awards from Grade 7 Honors with Distinction
•  Able to sing, play guitar, piano and drums.
• LCI School Chamber Choir (audition choir that travels) 2024/2025

  • Completed Youth Entrepreneurship Courses 2023 & 2024
  • Trained softball Umpire – April 2023
• Fluent in French and intermediate in Spanish language

Team Accomplishments:

• 2021 Female athlete of the year at St Francis Jr High, Grade 7
• 2022 St Francis Junior High Grade 9 school team clinched the gold medal in the city finals, (played up as a Grade 8 player) (libero)
• 2022 Club U14 Ace team ranked 5th in Division 1 in Alberta, ended up 21^st at Nationals. (Outside Hitter)
• 2022 Female athlete of the year at St Francis Jr High, Grade 8
• 2023 Club LVC U14 Blue team placed as high as 7th in Division 1 in Alberta.  (setter & RS)
• 2023 Lethbridge Collegiate Institute School (LCI) Grade 9 team brought home the 4J banner for Zones! (setter, some libero)
• 2024 chosen for Alberta Winter Games (AWG) team Zone 1, Sunny South, Gold medal winner (setter)
• 2024 LVC U15 Blue Club team, finished 13th in Division 1 in Alberta, plus won 33rd at Nationals. (Setter)
• 2025 LVC U17 Blue Club team, Division 2 in Alberta, plus won 90th at Nationals (setter)
