Next Level U Statement
My goal as a high performance athlete is to play hockey at a Canadian University, while studying either Kinesiology or Media Information and Technology. Through out my childhood, hockey has always been major a part of my life. It is in my blood. As a life-long Oakville Hornet, I have always found a way to balance the commitment to hockey, with school and family life. I would love to continue that balance into post secondary.
As much as I have given to the game of hockey, it has given me back even more. I do not take for granted the many life skills that come with being a high level athlete, and would love the opportunity to contribute to a U-sports team. My main strengths include strong skating ability, high hockey IQ and compete level, along with proven leadership skills. With a positive attitude and solid work ethic, I believe I can be an asset and a great teammate to any future team.
