I’m Caitilin Grace Bemis. I run XC and Track for Northridge and hope to continue during my college years, and I’ll work hard and push myself to get there.  I’ve been running XC for Northridge for 6 years and running track for 3 years. My 7th grade season got canceled by COVID but I was able to have a full 8th grade season the following year.

I’m coachable, a good teammate and handle pressure well. I’ve been told I have a naturally long stride which helps me gain speed and distance. My strengths are my long stride, speed and ability to pace myself well and fast enough so that I can maintain and gain speed throughout the entire meet/race.

Currently, my 1600m time is 6:20 and my 800m time is 2:45. My 5k time is 23:30. As I continue to receive proper coaching and training, throughout my high school seasons I know that I will steadily improve.

After high school, I want to stay involved in sports either in athletic training, or exercise science. I’ll also like to stay competing in college at some level.
