Next Level U Statement
My main position is defence, and I have played defence for my entire hockey career. Over my hockey career, I have also gained experience playing forward for 2 season, which has helped me develop different skills and better understand the game from multiple positions. While I am comfortable playing both positions, defence remains my main position and where I am the strongest.

My playing style is based on strong hockey IQ and being able to see the ice well. I am confident skating with the puck and making smart decisions under pressure. I am an unselfish player who looks to make the best play for the team rather than focusing on individual success. I am very coachable, always willing to learn and improve, and I take pride in being a great teammate who supports others on and off the ice.
My biggest strengths are my hockey IQ, vision, and decision-making. I see the ice well and can read plays before they happen. I am confident carrying the puck and making smart plays under pressure. I am also a coachable player who works hard to improve and listens to feedback.
I have had the opportunity to take on leadership roles in several school sports teams. In Grade 10, I was named Captain of the Field Hockey team and served as Assistant Captain for both the Ice Hockey and Field Lacrosse teams. These roles helped me develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
Oshawa Lady Generals, Maxwell Heights Varsity school team, Outlaws.

I received the Field Hockey MVP Award for my performance and contribution to the team. Outside of school, I play competitive box lacrosse and have won two provincial championships in the past three years. In my first season at the U17 level, my team finished the season undefeated. These experiences have helped me develop leadership, teamwork, and a strong competitive mindset.
Throughout my box lacrosse career, I have been fortunate to be part of several successful teams. My team won the Whitby Tournament three consecutive years and won the Kitchener-Waterloo Tournament three out of four years. We have also won two Provincial Championships in the past three years. These accomplishments reflect the hard work, and teamwork of everyone involved and have helped me gain valuable experience competing at a high level.
