Currently as a high performance athlete, my goal is to continue to improve as a hockey player and become an even better asset to my team. My goal is to pursue my hockey career in post secondary at the NCAA or USPORTS level. As a positive, passionate, and team player, I am able to thrive on any team, with my hard working habits, my drive to improve, and my coachability. As a player I crave critiques and the ability to grow my knowledge of the game. Overall I am looking to excel in a post secondary environment both athletically and academically.

As a player, I am a strong opponent to play against who is tough in front of the net and is not afraid to get tough and rough in the corners. I use my height and strength to my advantage, using my body to stop attackers entering our end. As a defenseman I am a very adaptable player, as I can work with different players and different systems of game play. I am a big play making defender, with a high hockey IQ which I use effectively to make good breakout plays and hard passes to my teammates. With my high hockey IQ I am able to quickly make plays in the neutral zone, creating opportunities for my teammates to enter the offensive zone. On the blue line I am a strong and aggressive player, who is able to get shots on net for either a tip from forwards or deflection. I effectively work with my d partner to open up the ice and set up plays that will benefit my teammates. I am able to create loads of scoring chances in the offensive zone, while also effectively moving the puck around to find the best open lanes.
