Next Level U Statement

I am interested in playing softball as a student athlete at a 4-year institution while obtaining a degree in education with the hopes of becoming a high school physical education and biology teacher. I also want to be able to use my experience and skills to coach varsity sports teams in the future.
I am a competitive athlete with a constant positive attitude, spreading enthusiasm and consistently being a leader on and off the field. I am a coachable player embracing feedback that I can utilize to further develop my softball skills.
I am dedicated not only on the mound but middle infield, always having a passion for second base. With quick movement, a strong arm, and agility to dive, I always give 110% to make strong defensive plays.
On the mound, I have learned to maintain mental toughness, working through a variety of situations while further developing my fastball, drop ball, rise ball, curve ball, and a variety of change ups.

Up to bat, I am a disciplined yet consistent contact hitter. As a power lefty, I strive to use my abilities to bunt and slap bunt when necessary. With a fiery drive to continue forward to the next level, my goal is to push myself to be the best player, teammate, and individual I can be.
