Next Level U Statement

Interested in studying Health Sciences and playing soccer at a University. An asset to any team – contributes through knowledge and understanding of the game, communication and technical efficiency on the ball. A calm and collective defender that wins the ball and keeps possession while also being an attacking threat with lethal vision to distribute through balls, and long balls. Always looking for ways to improve myself on and off the field and am looking forward to playing soccer in a post secondary environment.

Athletics

I have played for the Barrie soccer club since I was 5. We just finished our season winning the u17 Ontario Soccer I model championship. We were also semi finalists for the Ontario Cup and Champions of the Ottawa Showcase.

The last two years I have played a year up and have also just made a u21 team. Prior to this, I was one of the CSL’s top goal scorers.

The last two years I have been the recipient of the Athlete award in high school.

I also enjoy playing basketball and our high school team was a Quarter finalist in the Ontario Finals. I led the team in scoring, and was awarded player of the game for all 3 games.

I have always played rep soccer and rep basketball, but have decided to pursue soccer in my post-secondary career. In my last year of basketball, I received the Molten athletic-academic award for the Juel basketball league of Ontario.

I have always held academics as the most important portion of the term “student/athlete”.

My main passions are school, soccer, family and friends!
