Recruiting Golf Coach,
My name is Derrik Goodwin. I have been coaching Jacob Taweel and would highly recommend you consider him for your golf program. Jacob’s passion to his golf game and learning more about his swing and how to shoot lower scores is beyond most of the other juniors his age in our region.
Running our Provincial Development Program, I see Jacob continually be on time for our practice sessions, asking thought provoking questions to help him improve his skills. He constantly stays late to work on his game and organizes his own practice sessions around his identified areas for improvement. His passion to improve leads into the gym where he attends all of our team workout sessions, sometimes alone, and puts in the necessary work to reach his individual golf goals.
As Jacob has grown as a person and a golfer, he has become one of the best junior players in our province and would make a great addition to your team; as a student, an athlete, and a person.
If you would like to contact me to talk more about Jacob Taweel, reach out to me via email or phone as listed below.
Sincerely,
Derrik Goodwin

I’m a Patient, calm and confident golfer. I believe that my mental game is a very strong factor in my recent success. I will continue to improve upon it. I try to make a game plan for each and every course I play during my competitive schedule and tend to stick to my game plan no matter the situation. Over the last 5 years I have had some amazing opporitintys to meet some top level players in the last 5 years in the world and have learn about how they deal with stress and pressure, I have added some of these techniques into my playing style and they have helped me immensely in tournament play.
Player Strengths:
One of the biggest strengths is my Mental game. During the last 5 years and especially over the last 6 months I have really focused on improving the Mental part of my game which has allowed me to be able to play and perform freely. Another strength of mine is my Work Ethic and consist drive to improve. While practicing I will always have a structured game plan and make sure I stick to it throughout the practice session.
