My name is Kamryn Coombs – Graduating Class of 2024.

I plan on attending post-secondary for law studies, while continuing my softball career.  I have always been interested in law and in helping others – I have put in a lot of time and effort into my volunteer services to better understand and develop my leadership skills.

I would like to get my undergraduate degree in law and then perhaps have the opportunity to fulfill my long life dream of attending Queen’s University to obtain my PhD through their 4 year law program.

I started playing baseball (hardball) when I was 7 years old and then switched to softball. I have played softball for the past 5 years.  whether if be baseball or softball – this sport has always been one that I have thoroughly enjoyed, but within the past few years is when I really found a love for the game and decided that it was something that I would like to continue with into post-secondary.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to play with multiple teams and meet many people with like interests which have now become some of my closest friends. I would describe my personality as generally positive and uplifting.  I am a team player who takes the time to encourage others to do their best. I am dedicated and hard-working – which has helped me develop and given me the ability to play different positions on the field, while exceling at catching. I am an ‘all-in’ athlete who loves the game and is excited to continue my education with the possibility of playing softball along the way.  Can’t wait to see what the future holds for me!
