Next Level U Statement

Kenzie has been dedicated to hockey all her life! She is a team first player and her dedication, good work
ethic and being an all-around positive teammate has found herself part of the leadership role as an
Assistant Captain “A” several times throughout her minor hockey career.
She’s a very defensive minded player, positioning, backchecking, and high face off win percentage often
finding herself in key situations to take faceoffs, Offensively Kenzie supports her teammates well, with
her speed she’s quick on the forecheck, able to see the open lanes and set her teammates up for good
scoring opportunities.
Kenzie’s natural position is center but has taken initiative and learning the winger’s role so she’s able to
play multiple positions to help her team in any situation when called upon. Kenzie has been part of a
Division Championship title and a OWHA Provincial Silver Medal Winning Team, Winning individual
awards for “Most Dedicated” & “Top Forward” along the way.
Kenzie attends Rideau District High School and currently in grade 10. Kenzie is very active by playing
Varsity Hockey and achieving LGSSAA, EOSSAA Championships titles with her Varsity Soccer, Jr. Basketball
and Jr. Volleyball teams. Kenzie is part of school leadership clubs that help all year long with new
students, organizing charitable events, and supporting sporting events. Kenzie future goals is to play
hockey at the University NCAA or Canadian University level and study Physiotherapy/Sports Nutrition.
During the summer, Kenzie continues to stay on the ice and work on her development, she’s committed
to improving her game as she’s in the gym weekly working to get stronger and faster.
