My goal is to compete at the collegiate golf level while pursing a degree in Kinesiology or sports sciences/medicine. I am passionate about understanding the connection between athletic performance and human movement, and I aim to apply that knowledge both in the classroom and on the course. Through hard work, determination, and a commitment to continuous improvement, I strive to contribute to my team, compete at high levels of performance, and achieve success both academically and athletically. I am eager to represent a university/college with honour, teamwork, and dedication, while making a lasting impact within the golf program and the campus community.

On the course, I am able to stay focused and concentrated, even through tough weather, difficult shots, and challenging conditions. I can approach stressful situations calmly and with confidence. I am able to block out and ignore any outside distractions when on the course, which allows me to make smart decisions. This focus also let’s me execute my shots to the best of my ability and maintain consistency throughout the round.
One of my biggest strengths is my ability to keep the ball straight. I can consistently hit the ball on the fairway and the green, which helps me avoid hazards and allows me to score well. Another one of my strengths is my ball striking. My accuracy and consistency lets me play with confidence and smart thinking.
I am so grateful to call myself the team captan of the Burnaby South Secondary School golf team since 2022. I have lead my team by showing up to all practices and matches, having a positive attitude, and being a role model.
