Next Level U Statement
I am very interested in pursuing pole vault at an elite level while attending University. I am also interested in studying a sports related program. Sports have always been a large part of my life and I look forward to being able to contribute back to the community in a meaningful way through my academic studies. I love being active and challenging myself while always pushing my goals to new heights. I’d be a great asset to any team as I love encouraging teammates to work hard and achieve their goals as well.

I am a gritty, hard working athlete who is very goal oriented. I am a strong sprinter with a high level gymnastics background. I also have experience with elite strength training for athletes. My speed and body awareness have allowed me to gain fast advances in pole vault as well as sprinting.
My ability to sprint fast is very valuable for me in pole vault. As well, my training as a gymnast has developed excellent core and upper body strength. This unique combination of speed and strength allows me to have excellent approaches, body awareness and control while in the air. I have also learned how to focus and prepare mentally for challenging training. My physical and mental strengths allow me to quickly adapt and apply corrections while continually seeking higher heights.
