Next Level U Statement
I am looking to play collegiate level golf at a university with a 4 year program. I would also like to enter into a business program an obtain a degree that aligns with my long term interests. I am a great leader on and off the course with experiences through being a captain on a number of teams or leading in a school setting. My golf related strengths include my ability to perform well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor no matter the ups or downs. My positive attitude on the course helps me stay in the moment no matter how poorly I may be performing in a given round. This is very helpful because of my ability to bounce back if something isn’t going my way. Having the ability to not get angry or frustrated is a very important skill because I always keep myself in a round.

Secretly sneaky ( very consistent with lots of pars and strikes with a couple birdies. Many people don’t realize how well I am playing because of how consistent I am with pars.)

I have played hockey since I was 4 years old and I have been the captain twice for my team and I have been an assistant captain two other times.

I have won the most improved golfer of the year in 2022 at my golf club; Earl Grey. As-well 2 time runner up in the Jr boys club championship at Earl Grey. At my school I won golfer of the year in grade 10 as a 1st year player playing against grade 12 students, and backed it up with golfer of the year in grade 11 (current) as well. I was the only student who qualified for high school provincials 2 years in a row. I won a tournament in Canmore in 2024 for my first win, as-well as having 1 top 5 and 3 top 20’s last year. As it relates to my academics, I have been on the honour roll for the last 4 years in a row. (Grade 8,9,10, 11)
