Next Level U Statement
I am looking to play golf at the college level whilst getting a business or Economics education. I am looking for a school that can push me to be the best golfer, student and person I can be. I am open to either a 4-year program in business or a diploma program at a junior college. I believe that my work ethic and leadership can be an asset to any school. I have proven to be a strong leader, hard worker and person of integrity. I believe I would represent my school well in both the academic and athletic areas.

Hoping to pursue an education in Business or Economics. My ultimate goal is to become a teaching pro in golf. An education in Business or Economics would provide me a solid foundation for moving on to either business in the golf world or possibly into wealth management.

My strength is my consistency. I am able to keep the ball in play off the tee and generally avoid making double bogeys and other big scores. My coach and I are now working on gaining distance and working on my wedges to start making more birdies.
Player Strengths:
My strengths on the golf course are my driving, putting and mental game. I can get the ball in play off the tee on even the tightest of courses allowing me to not take many penalty strokes. The best part of my putting is getting the ball started online allowing me to make more putts inside 8 feet. My mental game allows me to be free when something goes wrong or I make a big score on a hole. I can reset and leave it in the past which allows me to not compound my errors. I have consistently received positive feedback on my coachability and willingness to learn.
These areas of strength allow me to be very consistent round after round and perform well in tournaments. On the Mclennan Ross Alberta Junior tour, each tournament has secondary prizes for net score relative to handicap. I consistently win these awards because my tournament scores don’t differ much from my practice round and casual rounds with friends.
Leadership:
I am a Hockey Alberta official which has given me many leadership opportunities on and off the ice. I am one of only a few officials to officiate at my age and or older. Head-refereed a U13 City Championship game and linesman for 3 Esso minor hockey week championship games in 2024. I also give back to the community by volunteering to supervise newer officials (referees).
I was named one of three offensive captains for the Notre Dame junior football team when I played as a quarterback in my sophomore year (grade 10).
I was named captain of grade 9 volleyball team.
Team History:
