My primary position is pitching, I typically come in for short, middle or long relief with the occasional start, but tend to hit the mound most games. I am more than capable of completing a full game when needed and often pitch in our teams most challenging games against our toughest opponents.
If not pitching, I am typically playing outfield due to my speed and and throwing range. I am also capable of playing 3b and SS and occasionally 2b.
Player Style:
-Mentally strong, able to have a bad outing or bad at bat and not let it get to me.
-I am driven to help the team any way I can, I hustle for the ball and on the base paths to help our team succeed.
– I use humour to help keep my team motivated and upbeat throughout the game.
-I have a strong work ethic on the field and off the field, practicing on off days and in the offseason independently and with one on one coaches to help develop or improve my skills.
– I am dedicated to my team, always at practice and attending extra practices whenever coaches add them.
Player Strengths:
-Pitching: Curveball, drop ball, fastball, screwball, rise ball and changeup.
-Strong throwing arm, large range, putting out players at home, speed allowing large range in outfield.
– Good contact hitter, relying on line drives and hard ground balls in the gaps.
-Strong knowledge of the sport, playing rep since 2020.
I have a lot of success on the mound, pitching for the last 3 years for each of the teams I played for. Pitching is my strongest asset to the team. I have numerous tools within my pitching arsenal, relying heavily on my drop ball, curveball and fastball, but also using my screwball, changeup and rise ball at times to help offset batters and mess with their timing.
I would say that defense is another major contribution I bring to my teams. I have a strong arm with exceptional range, capable of putting out players at the plate from the outfield. I also haveĀ great speed and the range to cover a large area of the outfield and track down balls.
I have done well at the plate each year, I am a good contact hitter, relying on line drives and hard hit ground balls in the gaps. I am patient at the plate and often take walks while waiting for my pitch. I tend to have a strong OBP due to my patience at the plate.
I have a strong knowledge of the game as I have been playing at a rep level since I was 8. I have also been involved in elite academies for softball such as Northern Force and have received one on one training with pitching and hitting instructors throughout the offseason to help improve my knowledge of the sport.
