Next Level U Statement
My goal as a high performance athlete is to continuing playing at a competitive level at either college or university after high school. My combined objective is to continue to improve both my academics and hockey performance at a high level of standard. After my college/university degree, I hope to achieve a master’s degree in my chosen discipline.
As a hockey player I bring a positive attitude and high work ethic. I am highly coachable and eager to learn how to help my team succeed and improve as an individual player. I bring a competitive energy and possess a strong hockey I.Q..
My game shows hard work on the boards, effective cycling, puck protection, net drive and the ability to accelerate through the neutral zone. I am an accurate passer and equal part shooter. An asset to any team in my ability to compete in all areas of the ice.

Player Style:
My playing style is similar to a power forward. Accelerates through the neutral zone, gains the offensive blue line with speed and drives the net effectively. Strong in front of the net. Strong on the boards, wins puck battles in the corners to start a cycle and also to maintain and continue the cycle to generate scoring chances either in the slot, or from the point.
Player Strengths:
Coaches and scouting feedback I have received include;
- Strong skater with strong stride and edge work
- Unselfish and accurate passer
- Deceptive and accurate shot
- Strong net drive with very good puck protection
- Very strong on board battles
- Smart and effective cycling to maintain puck possession and generate scoring chances
- Strong and tough net front presence
- Responsible player off the puck defensively and offensively
- Strong hockey I.Q.
- Extremely coachable
