Next Level U Statement

My goal is to play hockey at the university level while pursuing an education that challenges me academically and prepares me for a meaningful career. I want to continue developing as both a student and an athlete in a program where hard work, teamwork and personal growth are valued.

As a 5’11”, right-shot, offensive two-way defenceman, I use my hockey IQ, skating, puck movement and hard shot to contribute at both ends of the ice. I take pride in making smart decisions under pressure, moving the puck quickly out of the defensive zone and creating offensive opportunities for my team. I aspire to be a dependable, coachable teammate who competes hard, supports the people around me and makes a positive contribution both on the ice and within the university community.
