Next Level U Statement

My name is Rhys Schepers, and I have always been passionate about softball. I started playing at a young age and am now focused on pursuing the sport at the post-secondary level.

I am a right-handed pitcher who throws a drop, change, curve, and rise. My greatest strength is my versatility. In addition to pitching, I excel as a utility player, regularly covering third base and left field. I am also a strong hitter and skilled bunter, contributing to my team’s success both offensively and defensively.

I would describe myself as outgoing and respectful. No matter the weather or time of year, I am always ready to put in the work to improve my game. Currently, I play for the Huron Perth Nationals U17 Tier I, based in Crediton, Ontario. To continue developing my skills, I train at several facilities, including Between the Lines in Listowel, LiveWell4Life batting sessions in Mitchell, and Jolt Fitness in Exeter. During the off-season, I also attend indoor pitching sessions.

Beyond softball, I am actively involved in my community. I hold two part-time jobs and regularly volunteer, earning a reputation as a reliable and well-respected member of my community.
