Next Level U Statement

I want to play soccer at a post secondary institution and I am open to all levels and locations.  I am still undecided on my major but I am leaning towards a business degree.  I have been a GK for 6 years.  I started my competetive GK experience with Fraser Valley Selects on the Metro team and during my first year on that team I was scouted by and joined Coastal FC on their 2006BCSPL team.  In 2021 I chose to leave that team and join Premier Academy where I was able to continue playing at a high level and focus more on training and university preparation.  Over the last year I have been a key part of Premier Academy’s U18 and U21 teams while playing on my highschool soccer team.  My highschool team qualified for the BC Highschool Provincials where I was awarded Top 16 for the tournament.  Over the last year I have also attended 2 FTF Canada events and I won the GK MVP for the Calgary Combine that was held in November.   When I am in net I am hyper focused on my teams success.  I am always looking at the field and the players determining the best scenarios.  I am able to receive a ball with both of my feet and I have the ability to throw the ball to half and punt the ball past half with accuracy.  I am not afraid to challenge on break aways and I am always ready to make the save.  I have strong hands and am able to effectively deal with hard shots as they come in.  I am also a strong communicator on the field and am constantly talking with my team mates about the play, who is approaching, and possible plays.  I know that my leadership skills on the field are integral to my teams progress and success.

He knows when to come out and when to stay back on his line. He has perfect hands to ensure that the opposition never has a rebound. Toran not only has the ability to make top-tier saves, and intervene in a play when necessary, he also has the knowledge to know when to slow down a game or when to use his stunning distribution skills to start a counterattack. He has an immense amount of confidence and regularly makes both decisive plays and saves.
