Player Style:
As a setter, I become a trusted leader and voice for the coaches on the court, playing and guiding my team to win collectively.
I am a very calm player and constantly communicate with my team (verbally or with signals), encouraging them to never give up, directing the offence, adjusting the game based on the preferences and abilities of my hitting players, and watching and analyzing other teams weaknesses whether on or off the court in order to make quick and strategic decisions to score big points in high-pressure situations. Additionally, I use dump to keep opponents off balance, dig and block on defence, and move quickly and accurately to greatly contribute to the team’s success.
Player Strengths:
I can place my serve accurately to get the other team out of the system or score an ace. I am very fast, intelligent, and precise in making decisions under pressure. I have an innate understanding of game tactics that allows me to improve my game and help my team compete. My constant communication skills provide useful strategies, encouragement, and feedback that guides the team and allows me to make necessary adjustments within play. Also, my high level of physical fitness guarantees that I can cover large portions of the court, transitioning from the back row to the front, all while maintaining focus and preparedness to set the ball with impeccable technique.
