Next Level U Statement
I am very interested in continuing my career at a post secondary school either in Canada or the U.S. My goals in post secondary is to be studying kinesiology maintaining a high average, but also still improving my skills on the ice. I would describe my game as a two way defender who likes to rush the puck but still takes pride in my defensive abilities on the back end. I contribute to the team through my commitment to getting better, my coachability, and my positive attitude.

Player Style:
I would describe my game as a two-way defender. I like to rush the puck and play in the offensive zone, but I always remember to get back on D and secure my role of being a shut down defender. I like to model my game after Cale Makar in the ways that he uses his footwork to beat opponents on the blueline. Using my foot work on the blueline allows me to sneak in to open up shooting lanes for me. My player style is a ‘pass first’ mentality and always looks for that clean breakout pass in the defensive zone.
