Spring Hockey Season
This year I did something way out of my comfort zone. I received a message from a hockey team in Quebec that needed a player for a tournament in Toronto last minute, like the night before. I tend to be really shy and not do things like that, especially since I didn’t even speak the language. This time I took a leap and did it. It was the best experience. The team was amazing both on the ice and off. Very skilled high level hockey, amazing coaches and girls. I got a total of 11 points that tournament but more importantly an amazing experience.
I then received an email 3 weeks later from them asking me if I would join them at the Beantown Classic last weekend and it also was amazing. We made it to play Sunday hockey and that’s always been a goal for me at that tournament. This adventure has taught me to take more risks and try new things because life is full of experiences.
I also won Top Tier this year with my other spring team. Something I’ve always wanted to do.
