This February has been a fantastic month for the student athletes of Next Level U Sports both here in Canada, and in the United States. With many leagues beginning to get into full swing in the U.S, many of our NLU alumni have been in action and have been making an impact! Back here on Canadian soil, we have had the privilege of announcing a number of commitments for the class of 2021! In this week’s post on THE BLOG, we will highlight some of the great successes of our student athletes that occurred this past month!
Alumni In Action
Seanan Main – Western Illinois University Men’s Soccer
Seanan Main has had a fantastic start to his collegiate career! The first-year goalkeeper has 19 saves through 3 games for the Leatherbacks, earning him a Summit League Defensive Player of the Week nod in the process!
McKenna Kelly – Charleston Women’s Softball
Kelly has made a number of appearances for Cougars to start the year! McKenna has played in five games, making one debut on the mound in the process! Kelly also scored her first collegiate run against Syracuse on February 27th!
Coltan Fountain – Cleary University Men’s Baseball
Coltan Fountain is swinging a hot bat to start the year for the Cougars. Through the first four games of the season, Fountain has managed 5 hits and 3 RBI’s. Coltan has started all four games behind the plate!
Kaylee Bruce & Dylan Varty-Wright – East Central University Women’s Soccer
Both Bruce and Varty-Wright made their season debut’s in the Tigers season opener on February 28th. Bruce was able to register 1 shot on target in the Tigers 1-0 loss to Southwestern Oklahoma State.
Eva D’Andrea – West Liberty University Women’s Soccer
D’Andrea made a substitute appearance for the Hilltoppers in their season opening loss to Notre Dame College of Ohio.
