Canada has produced some of the greatest collegiate athletes in history. Across various sports, these athletes have left their mark on the Canadian game and the sporting world as a whole. In this blog post, we’ll take a look at some of the best collegiate sporting careers in Canadian history.

Steve Nash – Men’s Basketball: Steve Nash is one of the most iconic basketball players in Canadian history. He attended Santa Clara University from 1992-1996, where he set numerous records and won the West Coast Conference Player of the Year award twice. He went on to have a successful NBA career, winning two MVP awards and being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Christine Sinclair – Women’s Soccer: Christine Sinclair is one of the greatest soccer players in Canadian history. She attended the University of Portland from 2001-2005, where she set numerous records and won the Hermann Trophy twice. She went on to have a successful career in both the Canadian national team and professional leagues, becoming the all-time leading scorer in international soccer history.

Hayley Wickenheiser – Women’s Hockey: Hayley Wickenheiser is one of the greatest hockey players in Canadian history. She attended the University of Calgary from 2010-2013, where she played on the women’s hockey team and studied kinesiology.
